Growth Model

Our opportunity to sponsor and treat veterans is dependent upon both non-veteran paying clients and generous donations from members of our community.

Our financial model ensures that 92% of our revenue—generated through sales—goes directly toward patient care. This commitment allows us to provide the best support possible for those we serve. We understand that traumatic brain injury affects all people, not only veterans, and are committed to help everyone.

Our hybrid model maintains a commitment to healing from traumatic brain injury. We are able to utilize donations, grants, and overall revenue to help all those who are affected by TBI. As more veterans are sponsored and healed, we are able to offer treatment to non-sponsored patients at a lower cost.

Key Highlights
Immediate Support

Our approach offers immediate support, instilling hope for healing, particularly beneficial for those struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Cost Effective Healing

The at-home approach enables us to treat people at a fraction of traditional in-person modalities.

Flexible Expansion

Our team extends its reach to meet individuals at their current needs and guide them toward more intensive care when necessary.

At-Home Care

  • Cohort Enrollment
  • Essentials Pak Protocol
  • Weekly Coaching Calls

Decreases inflammation and fosters brain healing, veterans join a BHERI Cohort and gain access to a range of resources with active coaches. Ongoing symptom & progress tracking guides the person along the healing process.

Enhanced Evaluation

  • Medical Record Review
  • Comprehensive Blood Panel
  •  Consultation with Physician

Through the weekly and monthly connection and monitoring, we identify those who are in need of additional care and schedule a local blood draw around the 2-3 month mark, followed by a consultation with a physician. (~25% of our patient population).

Advanced Treatment

  • Individualized Treatment Plan
  • Continue Essentials Pak
  •  Transition to Local Care As Needed

Half of those seen by a physician require additional treatments from the base protocol. At any point a veteran can be transitioned to advanced treatment based on need. Majority of patients completely cycle off the protocol between 4-9 months.
