Dr. Hellen Kim

A Boston native, Dr. Kim earned her bachelor’s degree and medical doctorate from Boston University. She completed a neurology residency at Hahneman University Hospital in Philadelphia, and fellowships at Hahnemann, Medical College of PA, Harvard Medical School, the University of Pennsylvania and Psychoanalytic Institute of New England in EEG, EMG, sleep disorders, medical acupuncture, and cognitive behavioral therapy and psychoanalytic therapy.

 Dr Kim has held multiple leadership positions as medical director, healthcare consultant, business strategist, and physician advisor working with various entities to promote and communicate services and complex medical concepts, educate staff and providers, enhance revenues, add service lines and build healthcare start up’s.

She has served as chief operating officer for a R&D nutraceutical company, medical strategic officer for a healthcare software company, and continues to consult for healthcare business development. 

As a Neurologist, Dr Kim strives for optimization of brain performance with executives, athletes and others interested in personal change for improved performance, brain injury/cognitive health evaluations employing diagnostic technologies, lifestyle considerations and nutritional status testing and awareness. Her expertise in traumatic head injury is sought out by worker’s compensation representatives, state insurance and legal organizations and veterans. She is also a certified Disability examiner for the Veterans’ administration and State disability consultations.

Dr Kim utilizes functional medicine approaches assessing the whole person and their lifestyle factors as well as employing traditional medical treatments including prescriptions when appropriate.
